US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent disclosed that President Donald Trump might announce his pick for the new Federal Reserve chair as early as next week.

The final shortlisted candidates are Rick Rieder, BlackRock (BLX.US)'s Chief Investment Officer of Global Fixed Income, Kevin Hassett, Director of the National Economic Council, Kevin Warsh, former Federal Reserve Governor, and Christopher Waller, Federal Reserve Governor.
