Survey Says ~60% of SG Employees Worry About Being Replaced by Automation in Next 2 Yrs

Nearly 40% of Singapore employees expect to potentially lose their jobs within the next six months, particularly due to the popularization of AI affecting job prospects, while 58% of local employees are concerned that automation could replace their jobs within the next 2 years, ManpowerGroup released the 2026 Global Talent Barometer saying. Moreover, while 60% of local employees plan to stay with their current company, more than 70% are actively seeking new opportunities. Overall, Singapore's score on the 2026 Global Talent Barometer slightly decreased by 1 ppt YoY to 63%.
