Lu Weibing, XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) President cum Xiaomi Brand General Manager, stated that September marks the first pivotal battle for Xiaomi's mobile business, with the Xiaomi 17 series achieving enormous success. The second battle lies in the REDMI K90 series, and this launch event represents the second chapter in Xiaomi's flagship new product launch season. On one hand, REDMI needs to keep pace with the group's development; on the other, REDMI needs to grow alongside its users. XIAOMI-W has set higher demands for the K series while providing maximum support, redefining the K series' positioning, Lu remarked. As for the new K90 series, there are two changes: advancing the launch schedule from November to October and introducing the Pro Max version for the first time, which is also the group's second Pro Max this year. The REDMI K90 Pro Max aims to dominate the 4K+ price range with its superior product strength. It continues to excel in the core areas where the previous K Pro was strong, such as performance, battery life, and display.
