The consumption pattern in mainland China has progressively shifted to a stage where both goods and services are equally important, Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce Sheng Qiuping stated at a press conference by the State Council Information Office. The next step is to ensure the effective implementation of policies, converting their potential into tangible results for expanding service consumption.

Sheng disclosed that the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) will introduce several policy measures next month to expand service consumption, utilizing fiscal and financial means to optimize and enhance service supply capacity and juice new service consumption growth.
