The HSI settled the day up 56 points or 0.2% at 23,601. The HSCEI rose 26 points or 0.3% to close at 8,583. The HSTECH slipped 4 points, closing at 5,246. Total market turnover for the day amounted to HKD203.671 billion. HENGRUI PHARMA (01276.HK) concluded its debut at HKD55.15, up 25.2% from its listing price of HKD44.05. Meanwhile, MIRXES-B (02629.HK) ended at HKD30, up 28.8% from its listing price of HKD23.3. Among other pharmas, CMS (00867.HK) rocketed 13.3%. LUYE PHARMA (02186.HK) gained 5.7%. GENSCRIPT BIO (01548.HK), PHARMARON (03759.HK), and INNOVENT BIO (01801.HK) rose 4.2-4.6%. SSY GROUP (02005.HK) climbed 3.4%. Xiaomi Group Chairman Lei Jun disclosed that the YU7 will be priced at least RMB60,000-70,000 higher than the Model Y, and that the company plans to inject RMB200 billion in R&D over the next five years. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) edged down 0.4%. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) has denied reports saying that some of its employees are required to watch videos every day for view farming. Its stock price inched down 0.2%. Regarding other techs, BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) added 4.3%. TENCENT (00700.HK), SMIC (00981.HK), MEITUAN-W (03690.HK), and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) edged up less than 1%. NTES-S (09999.HK) hiked 1.1%. BABA-W (09988.HK) and JD-SW (09618.HK) dipped 0.3% and 0.5%, respectively. NETEASE MUSIC (09899.HK) and CHINA LIT (00772.HK) surged 5.3% and 8.8%. GDS-SW (09698.HK) and Q TECH (01478.HK) dropped over 3%. Car maker BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) once hit a new intraday high of HKD477.8, eventually closing 2% higher at HKD465.2. In addition, GWMOTOR (02333.HK) advanced 2.4%, while XPENG-W (09868.HK) tumbled 3.9%. Battery stock CATL (03750.HK) slipped 2.2% to HKD322.4.
