Hong Kong stocks resumed trading after the Ching Ming Festival holiday, and opened lower along with the external market. The HSI opened 2,119 points or 9.3% lower at 20,730. The HSCEI opened 763 points or 9.1% lower at 7,656. The HSTECH opened 592 points or 11.1% lower at 4,721.

For techs, BABA-W (09988.HK) plummeted 12.6% to $108, while TENCENT (00700.HK) dipped 11.2% to $441.8. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) eroded 8.1% to $145.1, while XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) tumbled 12.4% to $40.2. JD-SW (09618.HK) dived 10.7%, while BIDU-SW (09888.HK) and KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) sank 12.1%. NTES-S (09999.HK) descended 9.5%, while BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) drifted 15% lower.

Pharmas CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK) and HANSOH PHARMA (03692.HK) shrank 9.6% and 10.1%, while SINO BIOPHARM (01177.HK) slumped 12.2%. BEIGENE (06160.HK), WUXI BIO (02269.HK) and WUXI APPTEC (02359.HK) collapsed14.4-15%.
