Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), revealed on his personal WeChat public account that the promotional discounts in the passenger vehicle (PV) market will remain strong in 2025. From January to March this year, there were 7, 21, and 23 discounted car models for each month respectively. Despite being at a higher level historically, the numbers were notably lower than the 51 models recorded in March last year, signaling a substantial cooling of the discount trend.
