The HSI inched up 136 points or 0.7% to close at 19,760. The HSCEI added 68 points or 1% to close at 7,159. The HSTECH picked up 45 points or 1% to close at 4,403. The total market turnover for the day amounted to $160.354 billion. Handset stocks were stimulated by the subsidy news. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) elevated 6.6% to $36.25, and printed at $36.3 during the intraday trading, setting a new high, with a turnover of $12.05 billion. Same series KINGSOFT CLOUD (03896.HK) advanced 5.4%. Handset parts stock AAC TECH (02018.HK) leaped 4.1%, while Q TECH (01478.HK), BYD ELECTRONIC (00285.HK) and SUNNY OPTICAL (02382.HK) lifted 2-2.7%. E-commerce stocks BABA-W (09988.HK) and JD-SW (09618.HK) gained 1.6% and 1.3%, while home appliance stock HISENSE HA (00921.HK) jumped 3.8%. Logistics stocks JD LOGISTICS (02618.HK) and SF HOLDING (06936.HK) ascended 1.4% and 3.3%. WeChat Mini Shop concept stocks faced pressure in the A-share market. TENCENT (00700.HK) slid 0.4% to $414.2, while EAST BUY (01797.HK) and WEIMOB INC (02013.HK) opened higher before falling, and closed down 9.3% and 7.9% each.
