Shu Mingjiang, Safety Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), said at a press conference that mainland civil aviation is expected to complete 13.81 million hours of transport flights, 5.39 million flights, and a passenger transport volume of 730 million in 2024, with YoY increases of 13.1%, 9.5%, and 18% respectively, setting a new historical record.
