<CN Home>Wuhan Launches New Housing Policies, Improving Household Registration After Buying New Homes

The Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Housing released the "Notice on Further Optimising and Improving the Policies and Measures for Promoting the Stable and Healthy Development of the Real Estate Market in the City" (literal translation of "關於進一步優化完善促進我市房地產市場平穩健康發展政策措施的通知")

The notice proposes to optimise the procedures for purchasing a house and settling down in the city. Families who bought newly built commodity housing in the city, but do not immediately have the conditions for processing the housing ownership certificate, can file to apply for early processing of household registration. They would need to apply personally to the corresponding district with the sale and purchase contract, payment certificates, and other legal and stable residence proof of materials.

Notice also outlined support for the development of infrastructure of new city districts, as well as providing subsidies for buying homes within certain projects in the new districts. Additionally, families that own only one home in Wuhan and are listing it for sale will be recognised as a first home when applying for a new personal commercial housing loan.

The Notice additionally improved the management of pre-sale funds and encouraged loan financing efforts for housing projects on the financing whitelist.
